The project started with ideas of how to organise the content using wireframes. When all the stakeholders were satisfied with the functionality, the branding was added and a prototype of the website created. With the functionality, branding and navigation signed off, pure focus on the WordPress website build was possible. This is a quicker way to work as there are ultimately minimal changes to the code which is more time-consuming than making changes to a prototype.
Icons have been designed to illustrate the services delivered by CLT. Each one describing the service and extending the cloud icon found in the logo.
With a lot of case studies to showcase, this section has been designed for the case studies to be selected by sector. Clicking the name of the sector automatically rearranges the studies to show those in that category. With each case study on it's own page, links to selected case studies can be emailed to prospects.
The associates are displayed by name in black and white, hovering over the image turns it to colour, and clicking it opens a new window with the associates profile. This way, users can quickly view as many profiles as they like without leaving the page.
When a News or events item is added, it is automatically published to the home page in the section ‘recent news and events’ where the latest 3 are shown. News articles and case studies can now be easily added, updated and managed, links to the articles can be emailed and posted on social media.
